Now posting Pride. This is for all of you Kimura Takuya fans out there. If your also a fan of Hockey, you'll like this jdrama as well. I've seen the series a few months ago. Did I like it? "maybe" .

They exchange e-mail addresses and part.The sparks of mutual attraction are ignited in a second encounter between Yuko and Kimura, arranged with the help of her friends shortly after a party.Sato Koichi has come as a replacement for the team's coach who has been hospitalized. Kimura has a lot of respect for the hospitalized coach. Unfortunately though, he can't stand Sato's way of doing things. Bringing with him a lot of coaching experience from overseas, Sato criticizes the former coach's strategies. Whenever Kimura and Sato see each other, they get into a quarrel; consequently influencing Kimura's behavior during games.Seeing that his game ended in a brawl, Yuko visits Kimura to comfort him. Synopsis (Wiki): The story of this series follows a young man at the age of 21 named Kohei played by Okada Junichi. The setting of the story is in Kisarazu (hence the title of the drama series), which is a city in Chiba, Japan. He is diagnosed with cancer and has been told that he has a total of 6 months to live. Instead of being depressed, Kohei decides to do something else, something daring and unique.

The show focuses mainly on Kohei and four of his close friends. The five grew up together as they were all on the same high school baseball team. Bambi (Sakurai Shou), Masta (Sato Ryuta), Ani (Tsukamoto Takashi), and Ucchie (Okada Yoshinori). Kohei, known as Bussan to his close friends, forms the group Kisarazu Cat's Eye.

The whole theme for the group is based on a manga (Japanese comic) called Cat's Eye. Cat's Eye follows the story of three sisters who lead a double life in which they appear normal during the day and become skilled thieves at night--hence the theme of Kisarazu Cat's Eye. Kohei's group of friends, however, play baseball during the day while getting into mischief, other troubles, and wacky situations. During the night they steal or solve their own life's crisis. Mainly, though, they just solve their own hilarious crises.

I got really addicted to this drama - i don't know why. The comedy of this is not that hilarious compared to Stand Up but it's quite good either way. Ucchie and Ozzy makes me laugh always. I very much enjoyed the series (even if at first when i downloaded the series and watched ep1 - i was like oh no! - V6 and Arashi :P). Will upload the Nihon Series next time (already acquired them) ^_^ Kisarazuuu! Cats! Nya! Cats! Nya! Cats! Nya!

Descriptions:
Yuuji is still a first-grade student, he is having a very hard time understanding what has happened to his mother and the fact that she won't be coming back.

At the very beginning of the first episode, the voice of the late mother (played by Mimura) is reading from a picture book that she wrote for Yuuji before she died. It is about a mother who dies, but promises to return when the rainy season comes. Yuuji believes in this story and thinks that his mother will come back when the rainy season comes. And surprisingly... she actually does.

When it begins raining on a June morning, Yuuji runs out into the forest to the special place where he used to play with his mother. His father, Takumi (played by Narimiya Hiroki) chases after him to get him to go to school. When they arrive at the old ruined building where they used to play, Yuuji's mother, Mio is waiting there completely alive and healthy, but she has no memory of them or anything that occurred during her life.

Descriptions:
Kiritani Shuji is the popular guy who gets along with everyone, from the jerks to the nerds to the just plain weird. He's the one that everyone can count on. However, what they don't know is that Shuji knows how predictable his classmates are and he plays off their predictability to his advantage. His day-to-day existence as "Shuji-kun" is just a facade he uses to play in the school popularity game. Truth be told, Shuji is bored.

The one person Shuji cannot stand is Kusano Akira. Unlike Shuji, Akira is just plain annoying. Akira loves his soy milk so much, he gets drunk from it. He laughs funny, he talks funny, and he acts funny. Nobody in class takes Akira seriously. Shuji can't stand the sight of Akira and it drives him nuts that Akira does whatever he wants despite Shuji's expressed dislike of him.

Shuji has a daily ritual of touching a certain willow tree for good luck. One day, he is startled to find out that his willow tree was uprooted and in its place, a freaky-looking girl telling him that some people took the tree somewhere else to be spotted. She joked that she was planning to hang herself from that tree. Scared, Shuji runs away.

Things heat up when a new student comes to school. Shuji is shocked to find out that the new student was the freaky girl he saw the day his willow tree disappeared. Her name is Kotani Nobuko, a girl who has no self confidence at all and is content at being made fun of and bullied in school.

Shuji and Akira come to an accord that in order to make use of their "youth" they will "produce" Nobuko as the next popular girl. One of the conditions, however, is that nobody should find out that they are working together as a team to make this concept possible.

Of course, there can be no protagonist without an antagonist. There is a mysterious girl in school jeopardizing the duo's plan to make Nobuko popular. The mystery continues to unfold.

Unveiled here is the story of true friendship between three unlikely candidates who would not have been friends if not given the special circumstances!

The 42nd NHK Taiga Drama is MUSASHI. Many Japanese history buffs are familiar with The Book of Five Rings written by Miyamoto Musashi in the 17th century. Musashi's treatise on strategy and the way to lead instantly became the business executive's bible when the translated version hit the bookstores more than three hundred years later.

In 2003, the story of this legendary swordsman-philosopher-painter comes to life in the NHK Taiga Drama MUSASHI. Based on the famous biography written by Yoshikawa Eiji, this taiga drama boasts a list of stars that reads like a Who's Who of screen and television.

Orphaned before he was ten years old, Musashi (his real name is Takezo, so you'll hear his childhood friends call him by that name) grows up skilled in the martial arts. During the Battle of Sekigahara, he fights on the side of the losing Toyotomi forces, but eludes the enemy as they hunt down the vanquished soldiers. He then spends years wandering the countryside mastering the sword, becoming a stronger samurai.
